“I think I am going to faint!”

Asha Negi froze at the sight of her favourite star John Abraham at the Gold Awards

“I don’t think I will be able to stand straight!” exclaimed Asha Negi (Purvi in Pavitra Rishta) when she saw dashing Bollywood actor, John Abraham walk towards her on the Gold Carpet at Zee TV’s ‘Boroplus Gold Awards powered by Dabur Babool Salt Toothpaste’. The actress who was walking the Gold Carpet froze in her tracks when she spotted Bollywood’s dapper hero walking down from the opposite direction.

For the longest time, the pretty actress stood with her back to him, feeling shy to turn around and look at John. She didn’t want to be caught staring at the actor! “He is SOOO good looking!” exclaimed the actress. “I don’t know what I will say to him if we ever come face to face. I think I will just faint and become speechless!” she said, standing still.

The creative team saw her numb with excitement and asked John if he would meet the talented actress on Zee TV as she was a huge fan of his. He readily agreed and within seconds, Asha couldn’t believe her eyes that she was brought to where John was standing and was introduced to him on the Gold Carpet. John, a thorough gentleman, greeted Asha with warmth while Asha blushed a beetroot red on getting a hug from him.

“John is such a good looking actor and so down to earth and humble. He greeted me so warmly even as I stood shaking my head in disbelief of having a conversation with him. I don’t think there is even one woman in this country who will deny that he can make hearts go pitter patter with just one look! It is such a surreal feeling to meet him like this on the Gold Carpet. This turned out to be such a memorable night…all I remember is his touch on my hand and then the photographer’s camera’s went click click click as he posed with me!” If Asha’s case is anything to go by, it is certainly gratifying to know that even well known celebrities like her get star-struck so the rest of us need not worry!
