“Surmai Shaam” at Virsa Vihar on Dec 14

Jalandhar, December 12, 2019: Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar has always been in forefront when it comes to promotion of Art. Keeping the legacy, college is organizing “Surmai Shaam” at Virsa Vihar on 14th December. The audience will witness various shades of music varying from Sufi, Folk Songs, Gazal accompanied by traditional Sitar. It is worth mentioning that Mr.Varinder Sharma, Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar in order to promote culture and motivate youth specifically has come up with this idea of organizing one of the kind of musical evening where various educational institutions will show up. Apeejay College has got the privilege to mark the beginning of this programme. Principal Dr. Sucharita Sharma putting forth her views said that it’s an honour for Apeejay to be the part of such programme thus keeping its tradition of prioritizing art in every form. She said for music lovers, this evening will surely survive in the memories for long time.
