1-day workshop on Digital Photography at Apeejay College of Fine Arts


Workshop on Digital Photography being held at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar on Thursday.

Jalandhar, August 21, 2014: The Departments of Multimedia and Applied Art of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organised a one day workshop on Digital Photography on Thursday.

The workshop focused on teaching the students ‘Aesthetics and Art of Composition’ which is an integral part of the pragmatic approach to fundamentals of photography.  The workshop had three resource persons who have immense experience in the sphere of photography.

Dheeraj Paul, with two decades of experience in working as an editorial and advertising photographer, showcased his works and shared the technicalities and aesthetics of those works with the students. Ayaz who is a trainer in Sony India discussed the basic concepts of Photography and Digital Imaging.  Sanjeev Bhandula, Director-Indian Photo Tours shared with the students various career opportunities available in the field. He also enlightened them on the ways and methods to improve their photography skills. The interactive workshop drew a very enthusiastic response from the students. 

Appreciating the initiative of the two departments, Principal Dr. Sucharita said that this workshop has exposed the students to the new technologies and techniques in the field of photography and will definitely instill in them a desire to excel.
