100% Placements accomplished at PCTE

Ludhiana, May 12, 2015: 155 companies visited PCTE for Placement Drive and recruited 100% students of MBA & PGDM courses this year. The highest packages achieved were Rs. 10 lacs per annum offered by Abbott and Goldman Sachs each followed by LT Foods (Dawat Basmati Rice) and Jaro Education offering package of Rs.6 Lacs per annum each. The average package this year was Rs. 4.5 lacs per annum. In the overall drive companies like Tata Forbes, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Vodafone, Coca Cola, Adani Wilmar, British Paints & Ceasefire were the prominent brands recruiting the students this year.

About 30 students were offered more than 3 jobs and a total of 300 jobs were offered in order to give a choice to the students to begin their career in the corporate world. “We are happy with the placement record 2015, said Ms. Rishika Jindal, Training & Placement Officer. She further added “These impressive placement figures reflect our commitment to secure for our students the most rewarding jobs.”

Buoyed by the success Amit Katyal, student of PGDM placed in TATA Forbes said, “It’s like dream come true and I thank god for this success and also my teachers and parents who supported me with full zeal. To have a job in hand after working so hard is a sigh of relief for me and now I am ready to explore the opportunity in the corporate world.”

Dr. K N S Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes congratulated the Students & Faculty Members of the Institute and said “PCTE students are being placed in companies of high repute because we try to prepare students beyond the structured curriculum by encouraging industry interface through guest lectures, industrial visits and project work.” He further added “Students need to focus on their skill sets as we are pleased to give them placement opportunities in best of companies.”
