1000+ UCO Bank Officials got two-month long Corporate Training at LPU
LPU has ventured into new vistas of corporate training in collaboration with Times Professional Learning (TPL)
Jalandhar: LPU hosted a massive corporate training program, where 1000+ UCO bank officials got two-month long training in 8 batches at its campus. For such important training, LPU has ventured into new vistas of corporate training in collaboration with Times Professional Learning (TPL). Titled as ‘End User Training on Finacle 10.X’, this training was aimed at capacity building of bank employees for successful migration to the industry-leading universal banking solution.
LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal congratulated the collaborative teams in organizing the latest version of the training with a vision of technology up-gradation for customer service excellence. Mr Mittal encouraged HRD Centre at LPU for its untiring endeavours in offering the latest training facilities. He also anticipated regular readiness of the Centre for significant leap in world class corporate training.
Finacle solutions address the core banking, e-banking, mobile banking, CRM (Customer Relationship Management), payments, treasury, origination, liquidity management, wealth management, and analytics needs of financial institutions worldwide. These training areas help banks manage customers, and better understand their needs in order to provide the right solutions, quickly.
The virtual-inaugural session was graced by the top officials from UCO Bank, LPU and TPL. MD / CEO of UCO Bank, Atul Kumar Goel advised participants to utilize the learning opportunity prudently so that the bank is completely customer ready by June 2021. Executive Director Ajay Vyas specified a service strategy to be for customer delight. Congratulating LPU on its training readiness, especially in the prevailing pandemic situation, EdTech Leader & CFO (TPL) Arun Kabra highlighted the competencies of the organization catering to all segments and strata of society, the learning needs and training strategy. He also talked about the role of partner institutions instrumental in creating a congenial learning environment for the participants.
Prior to this, LPU’s Executive Dean Dr Dharma Buddhi; Head, HRD Centre Prof Dr Sunaina Ahuja; and, Program Coordinator Sarabjit Singh Kwatra welcomed the guests and participants. The state-of-the-art infrastructure, technical competencies and learning eco system at LPU were briefed out. The vision of UCO bank for empowering its officials in embracing the change was appreciated. Keen efforts made by TPL team, under the leadership of Business Head (Corporate Training) Anil Tripathi, were also extolled.
