In addition to the grand visual display, the episode will feature a specially choreographed dance sequence by the renowned Bollywood choreographer Chinni Prakash. This dance will not only capture the festive spirit of Diwali but also convey the deep emotions surrounding Lord Ram and Sita’s return. Prakash’s choreography blends traditional dance forms with cinematic flair, adding depth and emotion to the sequence. This was shot over two days and required a lot of rehearsals to ensure its authentic magnificence on screen.
Sujay Reu, who essays the role of Lord Ram, said, “Lord Ram’s return to Ayodhya after the Mahayudh is a journey filled with emotion and significance. It’s a moment of happiness for the Ayodhya-waasi as their beloved couple returns and they don’t want to stop at anything to showcase their happiness. We shot this sequence outdoors and I was so mesmerised seeing how beautiful the set looked. There were around 10000 diyas and it was looking so beautiful while the dancers performed in perfect sync. It is an important sequence in Shrimad Ramayan and I can only imagine that how beautiful it must have been in Ayodhya when they celebrated the first ever Diwali.”
Choreographer Chinni Prakash, said, "I had the privilege of choreographing a dance sequence for Sony SAB's Shrimad Ramayan. We spent days rehearsing, and it was incredible to see everything come together. The grandeur of the scene was breathtaking, with around 10,000 diyas lit on set and all the dancers holding diyas created a stunning visual. Although the sequence took a lot of time to shoot, the result was worth it. This experience was truly special for me, and I'm grateful for this opportunity."
