108 Ambulance Services organizes blood donation camp on World Blood Donor Day
On the Occasion of World Blood Donor Day and to raise awareness about donating blood , 108 ambulance services today conducted Blood Donation Camp at Civil Hospital Jalandhar.
Jalandhar, June 14, 2022: On the Occasion of World Blood Donor Day and to raise awareness about donating blood , 108 ambulance services today conducted Blood Donation Camp at Civil Hospital Jalandhar. The Camp was organised in the presence of SMO Dr. Kamraj and Cluster Leader Kamaldeep Singh.
Around 10 people, including 108 drivers and EMTs participated in the blood donation drive . Total 10 units of blood was collected during the camp .Blood donated by volunteers will be of great help in meeting the requirements of needy patients. The objective of this camp was to create awareness amongst people how every unit of blood help in saving precious lives. We aim that more and more people should voluntarily come forward for this noble cause.
Sharing view, Saikat Mukherjee, Project Head 108 Ambulance Punjab, said, at 108 we aim to save precious lives. We organized, blood donation camp to sensitize people about its importance. This camp is our little contribution to society in the troublesome occasion to serve humanity. We will keep on organizing Such Programs for the betterment of Society.
All eligible people must aim to donate blood once in 3 months which is an incredible method of serving humankind." added Mukherjee.
