Jalandhar, November 18, 2024: The 108 Ambulance service reaffirmed its commitment to community health and safety by conducting a First Responder Program (FRP) at the School of Nursing, Civil Hospital, Jalandhar. Over 50 nursing students participated in this impactful workshop designed to equip them with essential emergency response skills.

The FRP session was led by Dr. Neha Mandal, supported by Cluster Leader  Kamaldeep Singh. The program provided comprehensive training and hands-on demonstrations in life-saving techniques, empowering students to respond effectively in critical situations. The workshop emphasized the importance of timely and confident action during emergencies, preparing participants to be reliable first responders within their communities.

Manish Batra, Project Head of 108 Ambulance, praised the initiative, saying, “Our mission is not just to provide emergency services but also to educate and empower communities. Programs like the First Responder Program are vital in building a network of trained individuals ready to step up and save lives when every second counts.”
