Ludhiana: In a mega competitive event e-Dhanak 2021, 1083 students from 47 schools of the region participated at CT University, Ludhiana. The event was inaugurated by Chancellor Charanjit S Channi, Managing Director Manbir Singh, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh and Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti.

In this, 16 different events took place like CT Sur Sartaj, Indian Heritage Dance (Folk Dance), painting, cartooning, poster making, rangoli, elocution, quiz, clay modelling, etc all via online mode.  Students from schools namely Guru Nanak International Public School, Ludhiana; HVM Convent School, SDN International Public School; Guru Nanak School, Bassian; Baba Ganda Singh Sen. Sec. School, Langrian, Amargarh and Dashmesh Public Sen Sec School , Bilaspur, etc. participated enthusiastically.

The participants won cash prizes in different events. The first prize in Solo Dance was bagged by Ekpreet Singh from Guru Nanak International Public School, Ludhiana; in ‘Just Debate’ 1st prize was won by Guru Nanak Internatonal School Ludhiana’s Tanveer Kaur and Ravneet Kaur, in ‘Story Building’ 1st prize from Amrit Indo Canadian School by Harshita Nehra, in ‘Declamation’ 1st prize by Sneha Singh, in ‘face painting’ the first prize was bagged by HVM Convent Senior Secondary School, Basti Jodewal.

Telling about the motive behind this event Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor said, “This year pandemic hit us all but our spirits to honour the talents did not stop. We switched to online mode but the fun and learning went hand in hand. All the events were perfectly handled online as well. The prize distribution ceremony was held offline.”
