Ludhiana, March 28, 2016: Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust in association with Ek om Charity Trust England Organised 1088th Free Mega Artificial Limbs Distribution Camp at Viklang Sahayta Kender, Rishi Nagar, Ludhiana. Artificial Limbs, Calipers, Crutches, Tricycle & hearing aid were given to 64 physically challenged persons. Camp was inaugurated by lighting a lamp by S. Sukhdev Singh Phull & members of Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust Punjab. S. Sukhdev Singh of Ek Om Charity Trust said that their NGO will continue to associate for holding such camps in future also.
On this occasion Sh. Narinder Mittal Secretary Trust informed that Trust has organized 1087 camps in which Artificial limbs, Calipers, Crutches, Tricycle & Hearing aids have been provided to more than 46285 physically handicapped persons. He further said that the Trust has also organized Polio Surgery Camps, in which 2211 polio operations have been done successfully. Today 14 Operations were done in the Polio camp.
S. Baldev Singh Phull, Smt. Surinder Kaur, Sh. Ajay Sharma, Dr. Kuldip, Smt. Neelam Gupta, Smt. Aruna Puri, Sh. R.P Gupta, S. Upkar Singh members of Bharat Vikas Parishad were present on this occasion.
