Jalandhar, February 6, 2018: The PG Department of Journalism & Mass Communication of Doaba College, Jalandhar alongwith sponsors Iconic Media organized 10th National Media Fest Communis 2018. In the morning session Sh.Chander Mohan – President Arya Shiksha Mandal and College Managing Committee and Sh.Virender Sharma – Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar graced the occasion as Chief Guests.
The dignitaries were accorded a hearty welcome by Principal Dr.Naresh Kumar Dhiman, Dr.Simran Sidhu Head, Staff and students. Nearly 630 students from 30 colleges and 10 universities from Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal and Haryana participated in 20 events.
In the evening session in the Prize distribution function Sh.Alok Sondhi-General Secretary College Managing Committee, and Sh.Parveen Sinha Commissioner of Police Jalandhar as Chief Guests
Sh.Alok Sondhi and Sh.Parveen Sinha, Principal Dr.Naresh Kumar Dhiman and Dr.Simran Sidhu awarded prizes and certificates to all the winners.
Eminent Print and Electronic Media Personalities graced the occasion as guests of Honour and they were all felicitated by Principal Dr.Naresh Kumar Dhiman, Dr.Simran Sidhu.
