113 Designers and 105 Models Display Talent at Glamour & Gloss
The stage was set on fire when young models from different colleges and universities walked the ramp in Glamour & Gloss, an inter-college fashion show competition held at CT Group of Institutions, South campus.

Jalandhar, April 6, 2023 : The stage was set on fire when young models from different colleges and universities walked the ramp in Glamour & Gloss, an inter-college fashion show competition held at CT Group of Institutions, South campus. In the competition, there were nine teams- Anand College of Engineering and Management, CT University, HMV College, PCM S.D College for Women, C.T Groups of Institutions, Shahpur, ST. Soldier Institute of Business Management and Agriculture, Rayat Bahra Institute of Management, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, and KMV, Jalandhar. The theme of the show was Indio-Western. There were 113 models and 105 designers who presented their workmanship on the ramp.
The teams were judged by a panel of 3 judges namely Ms. Pankaj Thakur, Fashion Designer at the Studio CKC, Ms. Parul Verma, Designer at J'adore, and Ms. Neha Waraich Grover, Full Look Expert & Makeup artist. They judged the teams based on various parameters like choreography, looks, attire, walk, etc. The Best Designer trophies were given to every participant's team. The first position was bagged by KMV, Jalandhar, second place was won by CT University, Ludhiana, and HMV, Jalandhar stood third.
The audience was mesmerized by the live performances presented by the CT Musical Society. The makeup partner for the event was LAKME Academy, Jalandhar.
Present on the occasion were CT Group’s Co-Chairperson, Parminder Kaur Channi, Managing Director of the CT Group, Dr. Manbir Singh, Co-Managing Director, Tanika Channi, Campus Director, Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Director of Research and Innovation, Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, Dy Director Division of Student Welfare, Dr Arjan Singh , Principal of CTIHpM, Divoy Chabra, Head of the Department of Hospitality, Mahesh Khadwal, Controller of Department of Fashion Designing, Renuka along with staff and students.
Managing Director of the CT Group, Dr. Manbir Singh congratulated the winners and applauded the efforts of participating teams for showcasing their fashion skills. He further encouraged fashion design students to their beautiful designs made under their academic performance.
