118 return from Hyderabad

Dharamshala: As many as 118 passengers have returned to Himachal Pradesh from Hyderabad through a special train on Wednesday, stranded due to countrywide lockdown. These passengers got down at Pathankot Railway Station. SDM Nurpur Dr. Surendra Thakur, Naib Tahsildar Desh Raj Thakur and other nodal officers received them. This train started from Hyderabad on Monday. All passengers were thermally screened.
SDM Dr. Surendra Thakur told that all these passengers were sent through HRTC buses to various quarantine centers created in their districts. Passengers belonging to Kangra district were sent to the Institutional Quarantine Center at Kotala. He told that this batch included 37 passengers of Kangra, 19 of Mandi, 10 each of Shimla and Hamirpur, seven each of Una and Sirmaur, nine each of Kullu and Chamba, six of Bilaspur and four of Solan districts.
