11th Natyam Theater festival begins with great zeal and enthusiasm of youngsters

Bathinda, October 2, 2022: The 11th Natyam Natak Mela got off to a grand start in the auditorium of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU) with a large number of spectators and the enthusiasm of the youth. On the inaugural day, the play Marjaniyan written by Dr. Ravel Singh was successfully staged under the direction of Kirti Kirpal. The drama described the mental, physical and social pain of rape victim women, which made the audience think about this brutal crime. On this occasion, Bathinda Urban MLA Advocate Jagroop Singh Gill was the chief guest, who congratulated Kirti Kripal and the entire team for keeping the people of Bathinda connected with theater and art. Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Neel Garg also congratulated all the audience for coming to witness such a lively performance. The Chancellor of MRSPTU Dr. Buta Singh Sidhu also welcomed the Natyam team for choosing the university to host the Natyam Festival and assured to provide all kinds of support. During the evening, Swami Umeshanand, Dr. Vitul Gupta, Dr. Kashish Gupta along with other famous personalities of the city were also present.
