121st Orientation Course concludes at HRDC, Panjab University

Chandigarh, January 7, 2019: 121st Orientation Course concluded at HRDC, Panjab University, here today. Teachers from 45 Colleges and Universities from 19 disciplines participated in the four weeks course. Sh.Rubinder Singh Brar, Director Higher Education, Chandigarh Administration delivered the valedictory lecture on the occasion. Mr Brar acquainted the participants about the government of India initiatives under Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) in the field of education. He also urged the participants to develop soft skills to not only enhance their expertise in the subject but also enable the students, many of them coming from rural/ underdeveloped areas are uninformed about the e- resources available freely under Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). He also shared his experiences as Academic Administrator with the young faculty.
