13 IAS, 19 IPS officers of Delhi transferred to other AGMUT states/UTs
In a major reshuffle in the bureaucracy, the Centre on Wednesday transferred 39 IAS and 25 IPS officers of the Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Goa and Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre.
New Delhi, April 20 (IANS) In a major reshuffle in the bureaucracy, the Centre on Wednesday transferred 39 IAS and 25 IPS officers of the Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Goa and Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre.
According to the notification of the Ministry of the Home Affairs (MHA), as many as 13 IAS and 19 IPS officers of AGMUT cadre posted in Delhi have been transferred to other states with immediate effect.
The 13 IAS officers are Manisha Saxena (1996 batch) shifted to Mizoram, Sandeep Kumar (1997) to Arunachal Pradesh, Vikas Anand (2002), Nikhil Kumar (2002), and Satyendra Singh Dursawat (2012) to Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Sanjiv Ahuja (2008) and Sandeep Jacquco (2011 batch) to Goa, Syed Musawwir Ali (2011) and Balwan Singh Jaglan (2011) to Mizoram, Akriti Sagar (2016) and D. Varma (2011) to Arunachal Pradesh, Rashmi Singh(2007) to Jammu and Kashmir and Subhas Chandra (2009) to Goa.
Devansh Yadav (2016), Ayushi Sudan (2017) and Minga Sherpa (2017) from Arunachal Pradesh have been shifted to Jammu and Kashmir.
Six IAS officers from Andaman and Nicobar and one from Arunachal Pradesh have been transferred back to Delhi.
Similarly, 19 IPS officers posted in Delhi have been sent to Arunachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Andaman and Nicobar, Jammu and Kashmir, Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu, Pondicherry, and Mizoaram while seven officers from Arunachal Pradesh, six from Andaman and Nicobar, two from Lakshadweep one from Mizoram, one from Goa, two from Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu have been returned (transferred) to Delhi.
On Wednesday, the Centre transferred AGMUT cadre officer Naresh Kumar (1987), who was posted as the Chief Secretary of Arunachal Pradesh, and appointed him the Chief Secretary of Delhi.
