13th Sardar Manjit Singh Memorial Lecture on Leadership

Ludhiana, November 25, 2017: Mr Parneet Singh Sachdev, IRS, Principal Director of Income Tax (Investigation) Punjab and J&K delivered 13th Sardar Manjit Singh Memorial Lecture on LEADERSHIP organized by Ludhiana Management Association on 24th November in Hotel Park Plaza, Ludhiana. The session was attended by 175 Industrialist, Entrepreneurs, Professionals, Senior Executives, & Officers of Revenue Department, Govt of India.
In his presentation Mr Sachdev stressed that if any person takes some lead he becomes a natural leader & lot of people come forward to follow. Generally people do not take initiative. He also emphasized on the effect of positive talk on water molecule as the human body consists of about 80% water. He scientifically told that positive environment rearranges the water molecule in a way which is good, otherwise negativity is not good for organization, or good for health. He further stressed that leaders have to lead by example.
Dr KNS Kang in his presidential comments said that people do not leave organizations, they leave the bosses. If somebody is not treated well in the organization he does not perform, but leave at the first opportunity. Money is not the only motivator for somebody to join another organization. He further commented that many a times situations throw up leaders & thus organizations must take notices of the crisis or situations where they can identify natural leaders who come up.
