The 15 days Skill Enhancement Course/Workshop under the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) project concluded on Tuesday with the gracious presence of Dr Yajvender Pal Verma, Registrar, Punjab University who acknowledged the need of such events and shared his experience among the participants regarding the emergent need of machine learning and its principles for various domains.

Chandigarh, February 22, 2023: The 15 days Skill Enhancement Course/Workshop under the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) project concluded on Tuesday with the gracious presence of Dr Yajvender Pal Verma, Registrar, Punjab University who acknowledged the need of such events and shared his experience among the participants regarding the emergent need of machine learning and its principles for various domains. He stressed on interdisciplinary courses and research using machine learning. He expressed his willingness to join such future workshops.
The course Coordinators Dr. Rohini Sharma, Chairperson and Jasleen Kaur Bains apprised about the course where more than 300 participants registered from different parts of the region. Due to the online nature and evening timing, large number of students, working professionals, research scholars and faculty members could attend the workshop. The participants suggested to organise more such online workshops with evening timings.
