Ludhiana, July 17, 2015: A two week communication and personality development program for new admissions in BBA, BCA , B.COM, B.Sc (HMCT),MCA and MBA concluded at GGN Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT), Civil Lines here today. The program indented to impart training sessions on basics of English Grammar and IT skills along with activities on confidence building and leadership qualities. Co-ordinator, Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra , while talking to the media said the program aimed to explore the hidden strengths of the students with the view to nurture them further during the students stay in the college. Principal Dr. P. S Khattra said that confidence and attitude are the hallmark to success. He further pointed out that the 15 day program was carried out to give the students the platform to boost their confidence and develop a positive approach towards life.
Ms. Shallu, a new entrant in MCA (LE) said that the program helped her shed off her fear for public speaking. Mr. Sandeep of MBA 1st expressed his gratitude to the faculty for helping him learn the nuances of presenting himself. While Ajay of HMCT Ist sem said that he felt more confident after attending the program.
The program concluded with the quiz and the results were as follows:
Ist position : Mr. Sandeep (MBA) and Gurpreet Singh (BCA)
IInd Position: Ms. Kawaljeet Kaur(MCA) and Rohit (BBA)
From the Department of Hotel Management, the results of the quiz were:
1st Position : Inderjeet and Akash
2nd position : Harsh and Kuldeep
The Heads of the Institute Prof. Chhabra and Dr. Khattra congratulated the students for their brilliant performance.
