150 Plus Youngsters Take Part In Turban Tying Competition At CT Group Of Institutions

Jalandhar, February 19, 2016: This was not just a competition, but an enthusiasm to be a Punjabi and Sikh in the youth. It is rightly said, "Turban is the Pride of Sikhs," Striding on the belief CT Group of Institutions organized a Turban Tying competition at its Shahpur Campus on Thursday.
The boys who participated in the competition showed their great enthusiasm in the turban tying. Finding the paramount of the best is more difficult as it was dependent on the speed and the neatness in tying the turban. The first winner Prince Parhar got cash prize of Rs. 3,100, second Parminder Singh got prize of Rs. 2,100 and third Parbik Singh got prize of Rs. 1,100. The Chief Guest of this competition was Mr. Punjab 2015 Amandeep Singh Suniara while it was judged by Mr. Karnail Singh from Nagpal Turban Academy.
At the moment Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) and Mr. Harpreet Singh (Vice-Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) were also present over there. For the delight of the participants and the audience, singers- Puppy Gill, Harry Parmar and last but not the least Jarnail Ratoke performed at the event.
At the end of the competition praise worthy words spoken by Amandeep Singh Suniara for Turbanators as well as for the youth that what actually turban means "Sikhism believes in oneness. All of humanity, all of the universe is innately tied together - and is equally."

He also spoken motivational words for the turban tying boys" The Dastaar is your crown. It is your identity. It makes you who you are...one of Guru ji's Sikh will stand out from millions."
