15,617 expecting mothers served in last 3 months

Chandigarh , February 22, 2022:  108 Emergency Response Service responsible for handling Emergency Cases across the state of Punjab has successfully provided  immediate medical assistance to over 15,617 expecting mothers in the last three months by arriving timely and helping them reach safely at the hospital. 

 24 x 7 centralized, 108 call centre played a significant role by promptly assisting all the pregnancy cases with strong support. During the last three months, November, December & January the dedicated team and staff ensured that each pregnancy case is  managed well by timely admission to the hospital. The 108 ambulances are fully equipped with emergency delivery and medical kits. Along with that 108 EMT staff is also fully trained to perform any emergency or complicated delivery and render other medical assistance  in the  ambulance  itself. 

In Ludhiana, 2845 expecting mothers were served, followed by Jalandhar,  1181 and Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali)i.e 1158, 108 Ambulance services makes sure that pregnant women are taken safely and timely from their homes to the hospital. 

Speaking about the efforts of 108 Ambulance , Saikat Mukherjee, Project Head 108 Ambulance services said "108 Ambulance  has always committed itself to serve the people in distress. We have developed our emergency service in such a way that we stand firm on our goal of saving each and every life possible in such cases. Our dedicated EMT staff and people continue to ensure that each pregnancy case is managed well with full consideration & attention, with no scope of deviations . We really feel very deeply posed for our ambulance service that continues to serve during times of need and will always ensure to deliver effective healthcare. Team 108  Ambulance continues to work 24x7 and stand for emergency needs for the patients.
