18th Bhangra training camp concludes at CT Group

The ten day 18th folk dance learning camp got concluded in the Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium of CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur campus.

Jalandhar, June 27, 2022: The ten day 18th folk dance learning camp got concluded in the Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium of CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur campus. The camp was organised by Surtal Sabhyachar Sath on the footprints of late Dr. Inderjeet Singh. In this camp, around 500 participants of age 6 years till 50 years took part and learned various Bhangra techniques. The Chief Guest for the final day remained PPS Jagjit Singh.

Renowned Alghoza player Tarsem Singh was honored with Lifetime Achievement Award. On this occasion, CT Group Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, Deputy Dean Student Welfare Davinder Singh, Paramjeet Singh etc were present. Budding singers Deep Bajwa and Raj Sohal entertained the crowd with their performances.

The key organizer Neeti Raj Singh thanked all the participants for showing up great enthusiasm and zeal in this long camp.
CT Group Managing Director Dr. Manbir Singh appreciated the efforts of the organizing team and said, “This is a great platform given to people of all age groups to remain fit in a joyful way as dance is one of the best forms of workout and folk dance is one of the best ways to remain fit and healthy.”
