19th Folk Dance Training Camp Concludes with a Resounding Success
The 19th Folk Dance Training Camp, organized by Surtaal Sabhyacharak Sath, ended successfully after a 12-day training program at CT Group of Institutions. The camp, held in memory of the late Dr. Inderjit Singh, former registrar of Guru Nanak Dev University, saw more than 300 participants from all age groups.
Jalandhar, June 17, 2023: The 19th Folk Dance Training Camp, organized by Surtaal Sabhyacharak Sath, ended successfully after a 12-day training program at CT Group of Institutions. The camp, held in memory of the late Dr. Inderjit Singh, former registrar of Guru Nanak Dev University, saw more than 300 participants from all age groups.
The closing ceremony, held at the prestigious Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium of CT Group of Institutions, was graced by Vikas Hira PCS as the chief guest. Renowned folk singer Pammi Bai made a special appearance, captivating the audience with his mesmerizing performance.
Nitiraj B Singh Shergill, President of Surtaal Sabhyacharak Sath, expressed his gratitude to all the participants. During the camp, several distinguished personalities shared their knowledge and skills with the participants, enriching their understanding of various folk dance forms.
The organizers appreciated the efforts and thanked the guests and the management team. This included CT Group Managing Director Dr. Manbir Singh and Deputy Director, Department of Student Welfare, CT University Er. Davinder Singh Maan.
A special Lifetime Achievement Award was awarded to drummer Ramesh Kumar. Vikas Mongia hosted the event and added humor to the event. He entertained the audience with witty jokes and ensured a lively atmosphere throughout the closing ceremony.
