Chandigarh, July 28, 2023: The 19th Women in Science WISe webinar organised by Panjab University (PU) and INYAS. “Life in Academia” was delivered by Prof. Preeti Aghalayam-the first woman Director-in-charge of IIT Madras Zanzibar campus.
Dr. Preeti works as a Professor in the Chemical Engineering department at IIT Madras. Prof. Renu Vig, Vice Chancellor delivered the welcome address and highlighted the importance of women in science and engineering.
Prof Preeti spoke about how to break the glass ceiling and how balance is the key to success.
