2-day CT Waves concludes on high note at CT University

Ludhiana, February 22, 2019: A two day youth fest CT Waves got concluded on a high note with major events like fashion show, business plan, war of bands and syberthon. 18 teams namely FMS-IRM, Jaipur; GNIMT Ludhiana; CTIT Jalandhar; Kamla Lohtia SD College, Ludhiana; Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana and Arya College Ludhiana etc participated in business plan. The judges for the business plan were KV Mahidhar, Executive Director, CII; Ravinder Singh, Executive Director, Science and Technology, Entrepreneurship Park, GNDEC Ludhiana and Dr. Arvind Dhingra, Entrepreneur with international clients. Seven teams namely HMV Jalandhar; GTB National College, Dakha; SUS Tangori; INIFD Ludhiana and Syndicate Business School, Ludhiana etc participated in fashion show. Judges for the event were choreographer Hardeep Arora, Miss PTC Punjaban 2019 second runner up Isha Sharma; body builder Satnam Khattra and Anmol Sharma. Seven teams namely GGI, Khanna; Versatile Wolves; Arya College, Ludhiana; CT Group Shahpur and Music Freak etc participated in war of bands. It was judged by Tajinder Singh from Snorting Jatts and Bittle Singh. The first and second winners for Business Plan remained GNIMT Ludhiana and CT Group Shahpur campus and were awarded with cash prize of Rs 21,000 and 11,000 for first and second positions respectively. Team of Arya College Ludhiana won the first prize of war of bands along with cash prize of Rs. 21,000 and Hasrat Band bagged the second position along with Rs. 11,000. For fashion show, both teams from INIFD stood first and second and won the cash prizes of Rs. 21,000 and Rs. 11,000. Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti congratulated the winners and participating teams for making this event a grand success. Chancellor Charanjit S Channi, Managing Director Manbir Singh, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, Co-Chairperson Parminder Kaur Channi and, Tanika Singh and Seerat Singh were also present on the occasion.
