2-day inter Hostel competition organised on birth anniversary celebration of Rani Laxmibai

Chandigarh, November 20, 2018: Two day inter Hostel competition was organised on the birth anniversary celebration of Rani Laxmibai at girls hostel no.2, Panjab University. The hostel is named after the legendary warrior.
Inter Hostel competition was organised in different categories on the theme of women empowerment and patriotism. Almost 60 participants from all the girls hostel participated with great enthusiasm in different items as Painting, Rangoli, Slongan writing, Declamation, poem recitation and collage making. Prizes were given for best performances. Dean students welfare Prof. Neena Caplash addressing the residents said Rani Laxmi Bai was a great visionary and epitomes of women empowerment. She congratulated the winners and organiser team of girls Hostel No.2. Prof. Ranjan (Associate Dean) said girls are outnumbering the boys in all the fields and have great potential in themselves to change the world. Cultural Committee of the hostel successfully organised this event. At the end, hostel warden Dr. Kamla thanked all the participants and the guest.
