Hyderabad, November 5, 2019: The two day International Data Science Technology Conference for SDGs concluded here in the city at Hyatt Hyderabad at Gachibowli.

The goal of this conference was to bring together practitioners of Data Science, thereby facilitating public-private partnerships to help accelerate the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals 2030

It was organised as part of seven day Indo Data Week, November 2 to 8. More different programs like Hackathon, BootCamp and other will be held till 8th November.

On the day two of the conference five startup’s from across India pitched to the group of Angel Investors—Ms. Anjali Paul from Sweden; Ms Anna Ljungbergh from Sweden and Go NORDIC Ventures in Bangalore. Total 30 startup’s from across India applied from which five SUP(Sustainable Upgrade Program), Younify from Hyderabad, ZUBI, Device Earth and Acculi Labs from Bangalore pitched. Based on parameters such as financial viability of the product, scalability, business model, problem and impact, Acculi Labs was chosen as a winner. The start-up must use data to find the solution to solve the problem.

The winner was announced and appreciated by Chief Guest at the Closing Ceremony Mr Andrew Fleming, Britain Dy High Commissioner to AP and Telangana.

The winner Hariprasad, Co-Founder and CEO said we will ge the benefit of handholding networking in NORDIC countries. The start-up Acculi Labs flagship brand is LYFAS. It is a non invasive, clinical grade diagnostic solution from smartphone. For this no samples required. Using Machine Learning and related technology, it can identify early cardiac and other problems, he informed.

The day two witnessed panel discussion as and presentations on almost all the 17 Sustainable Development Goals

Some of the subjects discussed include: Future of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence for Sustainability; Social Entrepreneurship and Data Science and many others.

The speakers include: Ronald Buonarroti; Deva P. Seetharama, MD Tanuja Ganu, Mr Kiran Chukkapalli, Anjali Paul, Anna and others.
