2-day seminar on 'Muscle Energy Technique' concludes at Lyallpur Khalsa College

Jalandhar, December 18, 2018: The two-day seminar on 'Muscle Energy Technique' (MET) organised by the Department of Physiotherapy, Lyallpur Khalsa College concluded with valuable deliberations on the second and final day's proceedings.
The proceedings on the second day were inaugurated by the chief guest Dr.Manjit Singh, Sports Physician, Composite Hospital, BSF, Jalandhar while Dr.Asis Prabhakar, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University, Karnataka duly fulfilled the role of the chief orator.
College Principal Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra and Dr.Raju Sharma Head of the Physiotherapy Department, duly welcomed the dignitaries with a bouquet of flowers. In his address, Principal Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra welcomed the dignitaries and emphasized the need regarding awareness of therapies such as Muscle Energy Techniques for their full usefulness to the society whilst also urging the students to seize supreme levels of knowledge from such platforms.
Chief guest Dr.Manjit Singh and Dr.Prabhakar eloquently discussed the role of commonly observed wrong and faulty postures that lead to Neck and shoulder related ailments especially the subsequent damage caused to muscles. Over 70 student participants from the Department of Physiotherapy were awarded certificates on this occasion. Head of the Physiotherapy Department, Dr. Raju Sharma delivered the vote of thanks and the seminar was also witnessed by Dr. Jaswant Kaur, Dr. Priyank Sharda, Dr. Richa, Dr. Rajveer Kaur, Dr. Komal, Dr. Banita and Dr. Sonia.
