20 Civil and electrical engineering students of DAVIET selected for AGI Infra Ltd

Jalandhar, February 15, 2023: 20 Students of Civil and Electrical Engineering Branch of DAVIET selected for AGI Infra Ltd. AGI Infra Ltd. is a public limited company engaged in development of residential and commercial projects. The company has delivered many mega projects-residential and commercial, with product range varying from affordable home to Mid-segments and High-segments, including flats, penthouses, plots and independent villas and commercial developments including office and retail space. The Company is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange since 2015 and has its operations all over Punjab.

The Company has selected the students after rigorous rounds comprising of Technical and HR Interview.
The students while giving the details of the offer shared that their designation in the company will be Graduate Engineer Trainee’s (GET) and their responsibility will be to work on different Projects. The selected students Shailesh Kumar Jha, , Md Jalaluddin, Abhimanyu Singh, Shubham Kumar, Md. Tauseef, Rohit Kumar, Akash kumar, Sameer sharma, Vikas Bali, Sujeet Kumar, Sandeep Kumar, Akshay Kumar, Md Esar Ahmad, Suman Raj, Rajesh Kumar, Md.Saqlain, Ajeet Kumar, Ajay Kumar, Ranjan Kumar and Nitin  had shared that they had started preparing for the placement drive early and concentrated on developing their interpersonal skills along with the enhancing their knowledge about the core areas.  They shared that special efforts were undertaken at the level of respective departments and Training and Placement Cell of DAVIET towards training of the students on Autocad, STAAD Pro, CATIA and ANSYS.

Dr. Sanjeev Naval, Principal DAVIET appreciated the hard work put in by students and highlighted the special efforts were done viz: Online Test, Group Discussion and Interviews skills for preparing the students towards placement drives. He shared that special guest lectures and workshops are also organized from time to time to make the students sharpen their interview skills. He stated that the success of selected students reflects the commitment of DAV organization to provide its students the best possible exposure so that they can make a mark for themselves. He also congratulated the faculty of  Civil & Electrical Engineering and Training & Placement Department who guided the students towards the success.
