200 Trees Planted at Innocent Hearts Loharan campus


Jalandhar, August 9, 2017: With the aim of creating awareness regarding the environmental issues and to encourage the people to contribute towards a greener and sustainable planet. A tree plantation programme was carried out in Innocent Hearts Loharan campus with the initiative of rotary club, Jalandhar. The campaign was led by Professor Deepak Paul (also the member of Rotary Club), Principal of Hotel Management. The motive behind this program was to make aware people of nearby villages about importance of plants in their life. He also added that increasing environmental pollution was a threat to the existence of life on the earth, and this problem could be dealt effectively only by planting more and more trees. He also said that there was an urgent need of spreading awareness among masses. On this occasion in total 200 trees were planted, 20 trees of Estonia, 25 trees of Gulmohar, 55 trees of Arjun , 50 trees of Toorn, 20 trees of Jamun, 25 trees of sagwan, 25 trees of kachelia were planted. Mr. Irwindeep Singh president of Rotary Club, Jalandhar thanked Professor Deepak Paul for taking an initiative and understand the need and importance of trees plantation in today scenario.
