21 Officials felicitated on their birthday
On the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Ferozepur police today facilitated of 21 police officials on their birthday.

Ferozepur, April 4: On the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Ferozepur police today facilitated of 21 police officials on their birthday.
On this occasion SSP Charanjit Singh, Baljit Singh SP (Hq) along with DSP Gurmit Singh Brar congratulated the officials and handed over bouquet and certificates to them. While interacting with the media persons, SSP said that following the instructions of the CM, Ferozepur has become the first district to celebrate the birthdays of Punjab police jawans. “Those who were not available have been sent greeting cards. The department is also planning to give leave to the employees on their birthday so that they could celebrate the moments with their family members. The police jawans have really appreciated the initiative taken by the state government”, said SSP.
Today 21 officials including 16 Punjab police employees and 5 Homeguard jawans were felicitated. On this occasion, Inspector Latif Mohammad, ASI Jagroop Singh Jagroop Singh, Amarjit Singh, Jagtar Singh, Prabhdayal Singh, Swaran Singh and others said that they are feeling very happy and proud. “Due to this initiative by the state government, our morale has been boosted. Due to our tough schedule, we sometime forget even our own birthday but today we are feeling that we are celebrating our birthday with our own family members”, said Inspector Latif, who is the incharge of Covid-19 Cell.
It is pertinent to mention here that last week on April 1, Mann had asked the Punjab police to send a greeting card with congratulatory message to them to imbibe a sense of belongingness among them.
