Dr. OP Upadhyaya, Vice Chancellor, Guru Ravidas Ayuvedic University, Punjab presenting Degrees to BHMS pass outs at state level convocation at Sri Guru Nanak Dev Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital Ludhiana on Wednesday. Dr. Tejinderpal Singh, Member, Central Council for Homeopathy, Govt. of India is also seen.
Ludhiana, December 10, 2014: A state level convocation of all the Homeopathic colleges of the state was held at Sri Guru Nanak Dev Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, here today. Dr.OP Upadhyaya Vice Chancellor Guru Ravidas Ayuvedic University, Punjab presided over the convocation and presented degrees to 222 BHMS passouts from four colleges of state in the function.
Addressing the convocation Dr Uppadhyaya claimed that the Homeopathic treatment system and education was on fast improvement in the state. He said that students were opting for admission in Homeopathics courses with preference and all the available seats in Homeopathic colleges were filled without any delay. He said that as the Homoepathic and Ayurvedic systems of medicine have no side effects like Allopathy, the people were fast attracting towards these Indian systems. He said that the state government had also accorded top priority for the further promotion of Homeopathic education and treatment in Punjab.
MPS Pali, President, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital while welcoming the dignitaries elaborated the excellent education facilities available in the college. Dr. Ravinder Kochhar, Principal, Govt. Mahavir Homeopathic College and Dr Rachna Singh while addressing highlighted the various courses in Homeopathy in the colleges of the state.
Dr. Tejinderpal Singh, Member, Central Council for Homeopathy Govt. of India proposed a vote of thanks on this occasion.
Prominent among others who were present included Dr. SC Chambyal, Principal Sri Guru Nanak Dev Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital Ludhiana, Dr. Rajinder Girdhar Principal Homeopathic College Abohar and Dr. Pavittar Singh Bhullar Principal Homeopathic College Tarn Taran.
