Jalandhar, November 10, 2014: A three day camp was organised in Guru Nanak Dev University College at Jalandhar regarding entrepreneurship awareness. More than 100 students of different colleges participated in this camp. Dr Vice Chancellor GNDU, Amritsar Dr Ajaib Singh Brar, inaugurated the function. A Faculty Development Programme for teachers of different colleges of District Jalandhar is proposed to be organised from December 18 to 29.
The second day of the camp started with an industrial visit to ‘Kalsi Leathers’, Jalandhar. The participants got a practical and knowledgeable experience.
The third day of started with a lecture by Jagmohan Mago(Assistant Professor APJ College of Fine Arts) on ‘Technology Entrepreneurship’. Dr.Ashish Arora(Sr.Assistant Professor GNDU College)introduced the students about reverse innovation. M.J Kalra, Associate Professor, apprised the students about different strategies on evaluation of business ideas. Dr. J.S Randhawa, Principal of G.N.D.U. College honoured the students with participation certificates. Dr. Ashish Arora thanked all the visiting dignitaries, faculty members and especially the students.
