3-Day Entrepreneurial and Skill Development workshop commenced at Home Science College
The Innovation Entrepreneurship and Placement (IEP) Cell of Government Home Science College organized a three-day workshop on entrepreneurial and skill development, which was commenced today.
Chandigarh, February 6, 2024: The Innovation Entrepreneurship and Placement (IEP) Cell of Government Home Science College organized a three-day workshop on entrepreneurial and skill development, which was commenced today.
This workshop is being conducted in collaboration with Regional Centre for Entrepreneurial Development and Sachtek Foundation, which is their parent concern.
Paramjit Singh, Director of the Regional Center for Entrepreneurial Development (RCED), visited the college to enlighten the students on entrepreneurship, emphasizing the essential qualities, qualifications, and perspectives required for success. He addressed various challenges and queries related to entrepreneurship, guiding students towards skill development and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset. He also emphasized that skills and hard work can help the students to be the world leaders and marked entrepreneurship as the key to being self-dependent.
Approximately 100 students and faculty members of the IEP cell actively participated in this workshop. This workshop is further lined up with various activities for the skill development of the students for next 2 days.
Principal Prof. Sudha Katyal conveyed her appreciation to Paramjit Singh for his insightful session and urged the students to refine their entrepreneurial skills through these programs.
