3 day Sathya Sai World Youth Festival kicked off at Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh

Chandigarh, July, 12 2016: The first edition of 3 day Sathya Sai World Youth Festival today kicked off at Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh. The event is being held between 12th to 14th July. It was inaugurated by Mr. Piyush Goyal, Minister of State with Independent Charge for Power, Coal, and New & Renewable Energy, Government of India and celebrity cricketer Mr. VVS Laxman was the guest of honour. Over 3,000 young delegates from around 70 countries are participating in the festival. The delegates have come down from distant countries like Serbia, Peru, Kazakhstan, Ghana, Israel, Trinidad & Tobago and New Zealand to name a few. The three-day event is aimed at addressing the importance of human values amongst the youth, in daily lives and their practice through love and selfless service, for the betterment of the world. The youth delegates will share their valuable experience gained in their respective countries at this festival with the other participants, thus disseminating the universal and eternal message of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
