3-day UHV Regional Conference organised at IKGPTU concludes

Kapurthala/Jalandhar, April 25, 2022: The development of a nation is being measured by the GDP rate, high resources, money & wealth etc. These points have high importance in the world, but the scale of measuring the growth rate of a nation in the future should be the Index of Happiness, Health, Justice, Prosperity. These are the basic mantras, which are necessary for life. This was the message of the concluding day of three day Universal Human Values (UHV) Regional Conference organized at I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU). The experts participated in the conference and  explained these aspects in detail that only a happy and prosperous society can be the builder of the future. It is necessary that the index of happiness, health, relationship prosperity should be measured in the society, it should be increased. 

Dr. Upasana Mishra, the facilitator of the subject of human values, while reiterating the main model of the subject, explained the right understanding, relationship, the right meaning of facilities and talked about moving in the right direction from single person to family, and family to society. In this three-day conference, there was talk about the relationship of humanity, there was an exchange of views and responsibilities on the importance of nature in human life.

The purpose of the conference was to encourage the incorporation of human values in education and to take up this important work as a volunteer service. The conference was held regularly from 9:30 am to 7.30 pm, divided into five different sessions. In this, two sessions were kept for the main speakers to talk on the topic and the remaining three sessions were kept for dialogue on the topic by dividing the volunteer participants into groups.

In the closing ceremony Dr. R.P.S Bedi, Dean R.I.C. interacted with all the participants. He told all the participants to make this education important along with the course, adding to the respect of human life with human values. University director UHV Sandeep Kumar Kajal asked to disseminate this education, UHV, as a volunteer service. Apart from this, the key speakers included Dr. Kumar Sambhav, Dr. Upasana Mishra, Mr. Moti Chand Yadav, coordinated with Mr. Jatinder Narula, Vinay Kehar in the University UHV team contributed well to this successful event.
