Chandigarh, January 17, 2014: The court of Navjot Sohal, Additional Sessions Judge, Amritisar convicted Kabul Singh, Regional Seeds Certification Officer in the case of bribery and has awarded sentence of 3 year imprisonment and Rs. 2,000 fine.
Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau, Punjab said that Kabul Singh was trapped red handed while taking bribe amounting to Rs. 10,000. He said that FIR (No.3) dated January 28, 2011 under Prevention of Corruption Act was registered against him by Vigilance Bureau, Amritsar.
