307 units of blood donated on “Manav Ekta Divas” by Nirankari volunteers
Jalandhar, April 24, 2019: As many as 307 units of blood were donated by the volunteers of Nirankari Mission in the premises of Nirankari Mission, Leather Complex, Jalandhar City in the memory of Late Baba Gurbachan Singh whose martyrdom day falls today. The blood donation camp was organised under the guidance of Sant Nirankari Mandal (Regd) Delhi president Gobind Singh. The Jalandhar civil surgeon Dr Rajesh Kumar Bagga was the chief guest. Blood Bank In charge Dr Gagan Deep Singh, Darshan Lal, Subash Satya, Gurparkash Pashi, Amar Singh Kaley, Gurbachan Singh Chan played a key role for successfully organising the event. In his address, Gobind Singh said that Sant Nirankari Mandal is organising blood donation camps since 1986 throughout India. A total 6076 blood donation camps have been organised in the past 33 years and 10,36,560 units of bloods have been collected so far in more than three decades and 31 lakh patients have been cured with the blood units. Today, 81 blood donation camps are organised across the country.
