Chandigarh, March 27 2022: Uttarakhand Yuva Manch, Chandigarh, an organization working in social, cultural, environmental and national service, organized 29th blood donation camp this year as well.  312 units of blood were collected in the blood donation camp.

Shri Bakhbinder Singh Virk, OSD Governor Haryana was the chief guest. Among the special guests, MLA Pauri from Uttarakhand, Shri Rajkumar Pori, Smt. Anne Kamde, Regional Manager, SBI Panchkula, Dr. Ashok Gupta, Drishti Hospital, Panchkula, Dr. Subhash Goyal.  Vardhaman Ayurvedic Group and RJ Shatabdi from Red FM 93.5 also present on this occasion. 

Vasudev Sharma, President of Uttarakhand Yuva Manch told that there were many misconceptions like weakness in the body and getting sick due to blood donation, but today these misconceptions have been dispelled and our youth are donating blood in large numbers.  It is a matter of happiness that today our daughters are also not lagging behind boys in the matter of donating blood and themselves are coming forward and donating blood.  Timely availability of blood can save priceless lives.  If we can save someone's life through blood donation, then there can be no greater favor than this.

Along with the camp, a medical checkup camp was also organized for the general public.  In which the officers and members of all the Uttarakhand social, religious, cultural gatherings formed in and around the Tricity and the revered mother powers, officials and members of all the Uttarakhand kirtan congregations, Uttarakhand young men and women, and the dignitaries of the Tricity and the blood donors.  By participating, with his dignified presence as before, made a significant contribution in making the camp a success.
