32 member Printers delegation to visit USA

Ludhiana, August 24, 2013: A 32 member delegation of North India Printers’ Association (NIPA) is leaving for Chicago, USA to visit Print-13 exhibition.

The NIPA delegation received a special invitation from NPES, USA - the organisers of the exhibition. This group visit is being organised with the support of Ministry of MSME, Government of India under International Cooperation Scheme. The Government has sanctioned an amount of Rs. 23,97,350 for this visit.

Giving details about the visit, Kamal Chopra, General Secretary informed that the group visit of printers is organised by NIPA with Golden Wings Tours Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi as travel partners. During this visit the printers will visit Print 13 exhibition being organised at Chicago, USA. He said, after China Print in May 2013 it is the second visit for the printers under I/C scheme supported by the government. This visit may prove to be a landmark because in this competitive age printers can learn the latest techniques and innovations of the trade. Beside visiting the exhibition an B2B meeting with the publishers and the industries interested to get their job printed from India will also be organised, Chopra added.

Print13 is most innovating and exciting exhibition of Digital, Offset, Flexo and Hybrid technologies, products and services for the Commercial, Transactional, Converting and Package Printing, Publishing, Mailing, In-Plant, Photo Imaging and Marketing industries this year said Parveen Aggarwal President OPA. A meeting of the delegates visiting USA was held today at the office of Offset Printers’ Association at South City, Ludhiana to discuss the planning and to distribute the delegation kits. Congratulating the delegates, Gagandeep Singh, Secretary OPA said,  "With the persuasion of Offset Printers’ Association (OPA), printers in such a large number are visiting PRINT 13 at Chicago, USA. I feel, OPA has done a great job, because, the printing industry of the region is comparatively under-developed and this tour will prove to be a stepping stone towards the development of printing industry of the area".
