Third edition of ECGC – D&B ‘India’s Leading Exporters 2015’ also released
Mumbai/Hyderabad, March 16, 2015: Dun & Bradstreet, the world’s leading provider of global business information, knowledge and insight, in association with Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India Ltd (ECGC) today announced the ‘ECGC – D&B Indian Exporters’ Excellence Awards 2015’ to recognize the contribution of the Exporters to the Indian economy. The awards will serve as a driving point for exporters to pursue excellence and make the country proud by demonstrating exemplary performance in their respective fields.
The occasion also marked the launch of the third edition of the premier publication ‘India’s Leading Exporters 2015’, at the hands of Nirmala Sitharaman, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Commerce & Industry, Government of India.  Indian exporters are expected to play a key role in making the vision of the Government, ‘Make in India’ a reality. Accordingly, the theme for the event was ‘Make in India, Make for the World’.  
Delivering the welcome address,  Geetha Muralidhar, Executive Director (CMD-addl. Charge), ECGC Ltd said, “India will be the key source of manufacturing exports ably aided by the government’s “Make in India” initiative. The campaign is designed to make India a manufacturing hub and attract companies to invest and make in India. It will roll out initiatives across 25 sectors and across India so that global and domestic manufacturers invest and set up facilities to serve domestic and export market.”
