350 new entrants given enrolment certificates of Punjab & Haryana Bar Council

Chandigarh, February 4, 2016; Punjab & Haryana Bar Council, Chandigarh under the Chairmanship of Sh.Rajat Gautam today organized a function in order to distribute enrolment certificates to the law graduates who are willing to enter into the legal profession and applied for issuance of license under the Advocates Act 1961. The function was organized in the auditorium of Law Bhawan, Chandigarh. Hon’ble Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh graced the occasion as Chief Guest and distributed the enrolment certificates to 350 new entrants.
The function was attended by Parupkar Singh Ghumman, Vice Chairman, Amit Rana, Member Bar Council of India, C.M. Munjal, Chairman, Executive Committee Bar Council, Jaiveer Yadav, Chairman, Enrolment Committee, Bar Council, Partap Singh, Former Chairman Bar Council, Lekhraj Sharma, Additional Advocate General Punjab and Former Chairman, Bar Council, Harpreet Singh Brar, President, High Court Bar Association and Former Hony Secy, Lokesh Sinhal, Member Bar Council and N.K. Singla, Member Bar Council.
The function was anchored by Parvesh Yadav, Honorary Secretary who addressed and put forward the grievances of the Bar Council and lawyers in particular while welcoming the Chief Guest.
Hon’ble Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh, while addressing new advocates, said, "You are entering a profession where you all will learn and earn. Focus and hard work is the only mantra to success in this profession.” The Chief Guest also shared his life experiences and gave tips to a successful profession.
Chairman Rajat Gautam congratulated all the entrants and advised them to uphold the dignity of the legal profession. Speaking about the upcoming projects of Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana he said, "Soon Bar Council will bring Group Housing Scheme for the advocates of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. The search is on for the place.  Also, Bar Council will open a Law College”.
Vote of thanks was extended by Parupkar Singh Ghumman, Vice Chairman who while thanking the Chief Guest congratulated all the new entrants and further stated that there is no shortcut to success and moreover a lawyer never retires, he only expires.
