Chandigarh, February 3, 2025: The 38th AIU North Zone Youth Festival 2025 continues to be a hub of artistic expression and cultural celebration, bringing together students from various universities to showcase their talents. The festival, which commenced on 2 February, will conclude on 5 February 2025.

Organised with the aim of fostering creativity, teamwork, and cultural exchange, the festival has evolved into a premier platform for university students to display their skills in music, dance, theatre, and fine arts. The event has witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students competing across multiple categories, reflecting the rich diversity of India’s performing and visual arts.

The second day of the festival featured an array of captivating performances and competitions, including One-Act Play (Day 2), Skit, Western Vocal Solo, Group Song (Indian), Classical Instrumental Solo (Non-Percussion), On-the-Spot Painting, Clay Modelling, Installation, Folk/Tribal Dance, Elocution, and the Final Round of the Quiz. Each event showcased the talent and dedication of the participants, leaving the audience spellbound. The festival’s atmosphere was charged with energy as students demonstrated their artistic prowess while embracing the spirit of healthy competition.

Sh. Surendra Singh Yadav, DGP Chandigarh graced the occasion with this magnificent presence. He congratulated the organising team with for successful conduct of this event. Prof. Renu Vig, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor wished luck to all the participants. Prof. Y.P. Verma, Registrar accompanied with Dr. Rohit Sharma, Director Youth Welfare; Prof. Simrit Kahlon, Dean Student Welfare (W) and Dr. Naresh Kumar,  Associate Dean Student Welfare were also present on the occasion.

As the celebrations continue, audiences can look forward to another exciting line-up on 4 February 2025. The third day will feature Classical Dance (Indian), Mime, Mimicry, Light Vocal (Indian), Rangoli, Spot Photography, Mehndi, and Folk Orchestra. With each passing day, the festival not only highlights the artistic potential of young performers but also strengthens cultural bonds and encourages creative expression on a grand stage.
