4 accused of Rs.80 Lakh fraud apprehend in Delhi by HP Police

Dharamshala, August 29, 2018: Kangra police of Himachal Pradesh today succeeded in apprehending 4 accused who committed Rs.80 lakh online fraud with a retired state officer of Nurpur. Briefing details, SSP Kangra Santosh Patial said at Dharamshala, “A case FIR (No.236/18 dated 11/08/18 under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471,120-B IPC was registered at Police Station Nurpur on the complaint of Bhupinder Kishor Ram Pal, a retired Executive Engineer in which it was alleged that some unknown culprits deceived him and also threatened him with dire consequences and committed online fraud with him to the tune of approximately Rs.80 lacs for last four years. A team led by Sub Inspector Ajit Singh of Police Station Nurpur was sent to Delhi and today the members of team succeeded to apprehend four accused of this case named Abhishek Viramani, Rohit Roy, Ishaan alias Anurag Bareja and Vivek Roy at Delhi. Supporting team has been sent to Delhi to bring all the accused to Police Station Nurpur for further course of investigation.”
