400th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji- Painting Competition held in GPS Dhanansu 

Ludhiana: Dedicated to 400th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, an online painting competition was held in the Government Primary School (GPS) Dhanansu on Tuesday. 

The students from the First and fifth classes took part in the competition. 

Divulging more information, District Education Officer (Elementary) Rajinder Kaur said that the competitions were being organized to commemorate the 400th Prakash Purab of Ninth Sikh Guru and disseminate the teachings of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji among the students.

She said that Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji’s unparalleled and supreme sacrifice to uphold the value of righteousness, truth and freedom of faith would be always remembered by one and all.

Kaur told that Gurleen Kaur of the 4th class secured first, Gagandeep Singh and Sukhvir Singh of the same classes got second and third places respectively. 

The certificates and prizes were also distributed among the winners, she added.
