42 Beekeepers attend online training camp of PBKA
The Directorate of Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), organised an online monthly training camp for the members of Progressive Beekeepers Association (PBKA) in which 42 beekeepers participated.
Ludhiana, January 3, 2024: The Directorate of Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), organised an online monthly training camp for the members of Progressive Beekeepers Association (PBKA) in which 42 beekeepers participated.
Dr Jaspal Singh, Principal Entomologist; and Dr Babita Kumar, Professor, School of Business Studies, explained collection and storage of B polan, and provided tips for maintaining international standards of honey, respectively.
Dr Kuldeep Singh, Head, Department of Extension Education, welcomed the beekeepers and advised them to seek scientific expertise from time to time for profitable beekeeping.
Jatinder Sohi, President of PBKA, while proposing a vote of thanks, urged the members to pass-on the gained knowledge to the fellow beekeepers so that they could get better monetary returns and stabilize their businesses.
The programme was held in the guidance of Dr Tejinder Singh Riar, Additional Director Communication and Dr Lavleesh Garg, Assistant Professor coordinated this camp.
