47th annual International Mushaira 'Jashn-e-Sahir' on March 2

Ludhiana, February 27, 2019: 47th annual International Mushaira 'Jashn-e-Sahir' being organised on 2nd March at Guru Nanak Dev Bhavan by Adeeb International will be unique in it's history as about a dozen women poets of international fame will participate in this mega poetical fest.
This was announced by the Chairman of Adeeb International (Sahir Cultural Academy) Dr.Kewal Dheer today at a press conference held at Friends Regency. He revealed that Nusrat Mehdi from Bhopal, Pragya Vikas from Mumbai, Hina Taimoori from Agra, Alima Fitrat from Delhi, Sia Sachdev from bareilly, Kavita Kiran from Kota, Som Rupa Vishal from Badaun, Chandni Pandey from U.P. , Ama Dehlvi, Rifat Shaheen, Poonam Yadav, Moin Shadab from Delhi and Tajwar Sultana from Allahabad will recite their kalaam.
Expressing his sentiments about the eminent Urdu poet Sahir Ludhianvi, Dr.Dheer said that his contribution to urdu poetry has no match and we Ludhanavis, especially his old friends, feel proud of his multidacet talent.
He contributed to Urdu Adab as well as Hindi Cinema. Mr. Subhash Jain, Lalit Berry, Dr. N.K.Sandhu,Mrs. Neelam Khosla, Ashwani Jaitly, Gifty Nanda were also present at the press conference.
