Ludhiana, June 8, 2019: 4th CICU Export Promotion Committee meeting held to discusses about pending IGST/GST refund and other issues related to export.

Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU welcomed all the Committee Members and said that Export Promotion Committee is working to resolve the issues of exporters with DGFT, Ministry of External Affairs, Customs and shortly a meeting with top official of these departments will be held.

Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, CICU said that the members should take the benefits from the all meeting/training programs and request CICU for quick action instead of waiting for the meeting. He also said that the issues being faced by the exporter will be discuss with DGDFT, Banks and Custom Department.

Ram Lubhaya, Convener of Export Promotion Committee discussed the issues in IGST/GST Refund. He also interaction with committee members and resolved their problems.

Sarvjit Singh, Co- Convener of Export Promotion Committee said that pending scroll for IGST/GST refund of Rs. 110 Crore has been received by exporters on 3rd June, 2019 and another 21 crore scroll was generated on 31st may, 2019 and exporters will get credit with 2-3days. Its related with all the ports in Ludhiana. He also thanked Sh. A.S,Ranga (COMMISSIONER CUSTOMS) for taking personal interest in getting the payments being transferred from P.A.O delhi. There are still some cases where the IGST Refunds are pending since long due to some technical errors and it will be taken up with Ludhiana customs. PPT of IGST Refund procedure was also shared with members and on whatsapp group.

He again highlighted the importance of getting E.brc’s bank realization certificates) in claiming various incentives from Government of India. he also discussed caution listing on account of RBI-EDPMS which has been a cause of concern as it will impact export shipments, document submission to buyer and also resultant business.

The meeting was attended by Anil Gupta, Deepak Arora, Amandeep Singh, P.K Gupta, Sushil Kaura, Davinder Singh, Rajesh Verma came from Jagadhari, (Haryana), Navneet Kapoor, Bhavneet Singh, Raghav Kapoor, Somnath and other members of the chamber.
