Hyderabad, August 15, 2019: A Five Day 7th All India Horticulture, Agriculture and Grand Nursery Mela Opened today at People’s Plaza at Necklace Road in the City.

Nawab Khader Ali khan, President of Indian Rose Federation inaugurated the Mela by cutting the ribbon.

Addressing the gathering he said home gardening is very interesting thing. Among other gardening trends Gardening with advanced tools, equipment and technology is catching up in the city he added. Shows like this one are more in need and they organise very frequently he added.

On probing further with exhibitors on Gardening with technology, some of the exhibitors said There are some plant scanner apps. They help you identify thousands of plants and pests from all areas of the globe.

Gardening is now high-tech. Gardening is embracing Technology. Technology is used to get dying plant alerts. Technology is providing smart watering solutions. There is an app which can switch on and from remote locations, the smart sprinklers. Garden gadgets are a new craze now. There is high-tech trimmer. There are plant Doctors on a call. There are home weather stations, garden cams, . There are garden wi-fi boosters informed some exhibitors. Infragram uses infrared technology to analyze the health of your plants and garden.

There are garden sencors says Khalid Ahmed, the organizer . The Exhibition will go on till 19th Augsut, he informed.

The Mela is showcasing different Gardening methods, Various Plant Collections from all over the country; Trends in Terrace Garden, Vertical Garden and Latest Technologies and Innovations in the Agriculture & Horticulture Industry. It will have 80 stalls comprising Nurseries from Bangalore, Pune, Kalingpun, Kadium and Hyderabad, Khalid Ahamed informed.

SThe Mela has 80 stalls. Besides twin cities, Telangana and AP, exhibitors have coming from Siliguri, Kalingpong, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai. Some of the Exhibitors include Bonsai Collections, Gromor Food Nursery, Apurva Nursery from Pune, Sneha Nursery, The Garden Store, Urban Organics, Machchindra Nursery from Maharashtra, Bhavani Nursery.

The show is open from 9am to 9pm.

People in the city are converting their own little space/s in the house/ apartment-- a beautiful garden. So the show has relevant and useful to the people in the city adds Khalid Ahmed .

Designing own garden, growing own food, bringing nature into home seems to be a growing trend in the city. Besides that Leasing plants, Terrace garden, Terrace Farming, Vertical Gardens, HDPE Grow Bags for plants, Plants as Return Gifts, Stone Carvings for the Gardens, Design Gardens and Solutions for Spaces, etc and other.

Also to spur interest in ornamental gardening and to spread knowledge about garden accessories, material and irrigation systems.

The other attractions of the show include Flower Plants, Indoor, Outdoor, Cactus, Succulent, Medicinal Plants, Bonsai and various bulbs and Seeds. Organic Food Material, Confectionary Food Stalls are few other attractions.
