Vijayawada, 25th April 2025: The International Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM), organized by the Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation (APMSME DC) in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), concluded successfully in Vijayawada on April 25.

The 2-day event served as a dynamic platform connecting over 300 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from Andhra Pradesh with 25 international buyers from countries including the US, UK, Japan, GCC nations, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Key sectors included agro and food processing, textiles and garments, engineering goods, and handicrafts.

A major highlight was the signing of 51 Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and business agreements, many by first-time and women entrepreneurs. These agreements pave the way for enhanced global market access for MSMEs, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), artisans, and weaver societies in the state.

During the valedictory session, Unnikrishnan K, Joint Director General, FIEO (SR) emphasized that Andhra Pradesh's strong policy support, strategic port-led infrastructure, and marketing initiatives position the state as a rapidly growing export hub in the region.

Thammireddy Sivasankara Rao, Chairman, AP MSME DC, reaffirmed the State’s commitment to empowering MSMEs through continued support in capacity building, training, and trade facilitation. He also announced the upcoming launch of the MSME-1 portal for streamlined communication and issue resolution, along with a dedicated MOU tracking portal to assist MSMEs in executing international contracts.

The success of the RBSM reflects Andhra Pradesh's growing stature as a destination for global trade partnerships and its vision to build a robust, export-ready MSME ecosystem.
